Robert W. Allberry, 74 of Naples, Florida and also of Elkhart, entered into his eternal life on Monday, April 24, 2017 at N.C.H. Hospital in Naples, Florida.

He was born April 29, 1942 in Beverly, Ohio to James and Elsie (Tanner) Allberry. On November 4, 1977 he married A. Joan Baer in Goshen. She survives along with two sons, Todd (Trina) Allberry, Masaryktown, Florida, and Tony Allberry, Bristol; a daughter, Angela (Curtis Jason) Yoder,
Shipshewana; two grandsons, Tyler Allberry, Tampa, Florida, and Lucas Allberry, Bristol; a step-grandson, Chad Troyer, Tampa, Florida; a sister, Ruth McClung, Newark, Ohio; a brother, Albert (Phyllis) Allberry, Daytona Beach,
Florida; two half sisters, Debbie Dixon and Patty Leach, both of Ohio; and a step-brother, Ted Modern, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, half sister and a granddaughter.

Bob attended Goshen High School and formerly owned Scotts IGA in Goshen. He and Joan together formerly co-owned; The Inn Between Restaurant, New Paris, Bobby Jo's Party Shoppe and Dandino's Restaurant in Goshen. Bob enjoyed the restaurant business for 38 years. He loved cooking, food prep, catering, bartending, coming up with new ideas for specials, and the many friendships he formed with customers and employees that lasted a lifetime.

He had a private pilot license and formerly owned Mooney and Cessna airplanes. He loved flying for many years and the friendships with his flying buddies. He was a kind and gentle man who would help anyone out.
It was his loving, unconditional spirit that will be remembered by many who crossed his path in his lifetime.
Bob loved spending the winter months in Naples, Florida soaking up the rays.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from 2 to 6 p.m. to celebrate Bob's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Unity of Naples.
