Melanie Re'nae Hall Frazier 38, of Beaufort and widow of Henry Frazier, died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.

Funeral services for Ms. Frazier are being planned for Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Joseph M. Wright Memorial Chapel of Marshel's Wright-Donaldson Home For Funerals. Beaufort. Burial will follow in the 16 Gates Cemetery.

Melanie Re’nee Hall Frazier, daughter of the late Cleveland and Hattie Nathan Hall, was born May 13, 1977, in Detroit, Michigan.

Early in life, Melanie’s family relocated and made Savannah, Georgia their home. She received her education in the local public schools of Chatham County.

Mel, as she was affectionately known, was the epitome of her astrological sign, Taurus “The Bull”… that we all knew. If you knew Mel, she would give you a run for your money with no filter. However, when she loved, she loved hard. Mel was full of stories and jokes. She so loved her children that she would go to war for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Frazier, father, Cleveland Hall, mother, Hattie Hall, and sisters, Patricia Gardner and Marie Dyke.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving children: Justin Barry Hall, Jai’Lyn Renee Hall, Ti’Heri Skyy Hall-Frazier and Jai’Dynn Michii Austin; her siblings: Delois Draper, Jackie Shaheed-Ali (Andus), Larry Hall (Theresa), Teresa Johnson (Cleo) and Shanda Hall-McRae (Jamaal); her cousins: Paula Tukes (Tavares) and Jermaine Hall; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Joann Frazier, Beaufort, SC; two sisters-in-law, Jerri Frazier and Tammy Willliams; two brothers-in-law M/Sgt Willie Williams and Aaron Byerson; her special friends: Barry Washington, Stanley Austin, Angelina Watson, Charles “CJ” Lyerly and JuLaunah Kitty; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Marshel's Wright-Donaldson Home For Funerals is in charge of the arrangements.
