Lindsey Brooke Foster, age 22, of Fairmount, GA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born in Floyd County on February 3, 1995, daughter to Tim Foster and Vickey Buttrum Foster.
She was a member of Fairmount First Baptist Church. Lindsey was an Alumna of Sonoraville High School, and an Alumna of Phi Mu sorority at the University of North Georgia. She was currently attending Georgia Northwestern Technical College, pursuing a degree in the medical field.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Garland and Mary Lee Foster, and Raymond and Marnell Buttrum.
Lindsey was a happy, positive, and beautiful young woman. She lived life to the fullest, and loved all her family and friends. In addition to college, she was employed by Ruby Tuesday in Calhoun.
She is survived by her parents, Tim and Vickey Foster of Fairmount; her love, Jake Hamrick of Adairsville; uncles, Tony Foster and his wife Monica of Houston, TX, and Ray Buttrum and his wife Kimberly of Chatsworth; aunts, Teresa Eberly and her husband Nelson of Rydal, and Rita Lacey and her husband Matt of Fairmount; cousins, Ches Foster, Clara Foster, Joe Eberly, Jake Eberly, Emily Lacey, Carle Buttrum, and Tiffany Davis; and a special cousin, Gracie Charles. Other family and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Lindsey Brooke Foster will be conducted on Friday, May 12th at 1:00 PM from Fairmount First Baptist Church, with Rev. Rick Langston, Rev. Mark Owens, and Rev. Michael Yancey officiating. Lindsey’s body will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the service hour. Music will be arranged by Leah Parker Roach. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Fairmount. Pallbearers serving will include Jake Hamrick, Tony Foster, Ches Foster, Ray Buttrum, Matt Lacey, Nelson Eberly, Joe Eberly, and Jake Eberly. Honorary pallbearers are Mylon Holbert and Clinton Childers.
The Foster family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, May 11th after 5:00 PM.
