Married Lois J. (Sargent) Goodrich on Nov. 27, 1946. They first lived in Amesbury while he attended Wentworth Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he graduated in 1948.
He was employed by General Electric and held many management positions until he retired in 1986 after 38 years of service
He and his wife moved to Chelsea, Vermont. He was a lifetime member of the Second Marine Division Association and VFW Post #8451 in Chelsea, Vermont.
He and his late wife enjoyed hiking, camping and attending their grandchildren's many sporting events as well as the peacefulness of their home in Vermont
Survived by two sons and their wives; a daughter and her husband; a daughter-in-law; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Lois; a son, George D. Goodrich; his parents; two sisters, Annie and Harriet, and three brothers, Joseph, John and Murray.
