Bonnie was born in Rush County on October 31, 1929 to the late Omer F. and Stella (Wilhelm) McDaniel.
Bonnie married Elmer McDonald on December 6, 1970 and he survives.
Bonnie worked as a Meter Maid in Henry County for several years and ran several restaurants in Mays and Sexton. She worked for 39 years as a jail Matron for the Rush County Sheriff Dept. retiring in 2015.
In addition to her husband Elmer, of Rushville, Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Penny Moore of Rushville, a son, Mark Nickel & wife Sherri of Rushville, 2 step sons, Tom McDonald and wife Elka of Arlington and Mike McDonald of Greensburg, 3 step daughters, Janet Hatfield of Rushville, Vicki Bussberg of Greensburg, Kim and husband Arnold Allen also of Greensburg, a brother, Marlin McDaniel and wife Marjorie of Rushville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William and Forest, a sister, Theone McDaniel, a son, Danny Nickel, a daughter, Diane Goddard and 2 great grandsons.
Burial will be in the Little Blue River Cemetery.
