A native of Alamance County she was the wife of Darryl Grey Butler, who survives, and daughter of Jim L. Albright and Ione Capps Albright, both deceased. Mrs. Butler retired from Bell South. She was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband of the home she is survived by her daughter, Patti B. Honeycutt and husband Michael of Charlotte; her son, David L. Butler of Burlington; and grandson, Jason A. Mills.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald L. Albright.
A funeral service will be held at Bellemont United Methodist Church on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM by Rev. Farron Duncan. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Monday at Bellemont United Methodist Church from 12:45 until 1:45 PM. At other times they will be at the residence.
