COX FUNERAL HOME
BASTROP, LA. Funeral services for Mr. James K. "Mann" Paul will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Reverends Andy Myrick and Bruce Hankins will officiate the services. Interment will follow at New Forest Cemetery, Forest, Louisiana under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
James Kenneth Paul was born March 29, 1934 at Higginson, Arkansas. He passed away surrounded by his family on May 9, 2017 at the Cherry Ridge Guest Care in Bastrop, Louisiana. Mr. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie W. Paul and Blanche Lillian Mitchell Paul; his wife, Mildred Louise Paul and two sons, Jackie Paul and Kenneth Ray Paul.
James was a retired farmer and a longtime resident of Pioneer, Louisiana. He had a quick wit and great sense of humor. To his family he will be cherished for his devotion and love for them.
Mr. Paul is survived by his son, Jerry Paul and his wife, Linda of Chatsworth, Georgia; two daughters, Debra Hankins and her husband, Bruce of Bastrop, Louisiana and Tammy Patton of Conroe, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three sisters.
