Anna was a member of Fayetteville, WV Emmanuel Baptist Church. She worked as a telephone operator for eight years in Elkton, MD and another six years in Beckley, WV for C&P Telephone Company. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Burgess, brothers, Charles G Scott, James LeRoy Scott, and William Harold Scott, and sisters, Bertha Anderson, Goldie Parker, and Ida Marie Scott. She is survived by one son.
