John Louis Tronsdal, age 79, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2003, at his home in Duluth, Minnesota. John was born in Duluth on April 14, 1924, to Louis and Stella Tronsdal.
John attended Denfeld High School, joined the U.S. Navy during World War II and served in the South Pacific. John retired as a Chief Clerk on the Ore Docks with the DM&IR Railway after 41 years of service. He was a member of the Railway Clerks Union and was an avid reader who also enjoyed crossword puzzles and football.
John was preceded in death by his parents and three infant children. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; daughter; sister; grandsons; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Entombment took place at Calvary Cemetery, Duluth, Minnesota.
