DAVENPORT — Services for Stephen T. McLaughlin, 38, of Davenport, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport, with services conducted by Father Michael Phillips. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Serving as casket bearers will be Denny McLaughlin, Lauren Zink, Tom Cavanaugh and Steve Guinta.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Thursday and one hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.
Steve died Monday, Dec. 30, 1996, at his home, after an extended illness.
He was a field engineer with Eastman Kodak Co., retiring in 1994 due to health.
Steve was born Nov. 13, 1958, in Clinton, Iowa, to Richard P. and Sarah F. Matthews McLaughlin.
He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School., Clinton, and DeVry Institute, Chicago.
He enjoyed bowling, golfing and hunting.
Survivors include his father, Dr. Richard P. McLaughlin, Clinton; a son, Shawn McLaughlin, Davenport; a sister, Susan F. Elleson, Fremont, Calif.; brothers, Dennis M. McLaughlin and Joseph P. McLaughlin, both of Clinton; and special friend and partner, Judy Haulk, Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1991 and a sister, Karen A. McLaughlin, in 1982
