Audrey M. Hunt, 89, of Lake Port Square, Leesburg, passed away on April 12, 2017.
She was a native and longtime resident of Bethpage, Long Island. After working as a clerk and business office supervisor for the Bethpage schools for 31 years, she and her husband John A. Hunt spent their retirement in Hendersonville, NC, Las Cruces, NM and Lady Lake, FL before moving to Leesburg.
During this time they traveled extensively in their motor home. Audrey was an enthusiastic square dancer and enjoyed playing cards and games almost every night.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Harrison & Linda Hunt; two grandchildren; nephew Thomas Marrone and his wife Margo; and one grandniece. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years and her beloved sister Marian.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for her Tuesday, May 9 at 10 am at the East Building, Lake Port Square. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32278.
