GOFFSTOWN - Hilda Rose (Lavigne) (Bastien) Lombard, 94, of Goffstown, died May 4, 2017, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, after a period of declining health.
She was born in St. Anne de Beaupre, Quebec, Canada, on Sept. 16, 1922, and was the daughter of Arthur and Eva (Pare) Lavigne. She lived in Massachusetts in Lowell and Malden for many years before moving to New Hampshire in 2001.
Hilda Rose worked as an accounting administrator at MIT Press in Cambridge, Mass., and at General Electric in Lowell, Mass.
She was musically talented and enjoyed playing cards. She also loved decorating at Christmas.
The family includes (removed for privacy). She was predeceased by her first husband, Emile Bastien, in 1969, and her second husband, Burnham R. Lombard Jr., in March of this year.
