Teresa Stone, 57, of Paxton, Illinois, died at 2:36 a.m. Monday (May 8, 2017) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

Teresa was born on October 27, 1959 in Gibson City, a daughter of Paul Donald and Barbara Jean Mell Cleary. She married Kevin R. Stone on November 16, 1991 at the First United Methodist Church in Paxton. He survives.

She is also survived by her children, Donald (Desiree) Cleary and Rachel (Dustin) Steel; step son, James (Lindsey) Stone; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; her father; two sisters, Peggy (Rodney) Irvin and Alyce (Bob) Hein and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara J. Cleary and brother, Raymond P. Cleary.

She graduated from Paxton High School in 1977. She also attended Parkland College for Accounting. She worked for Ray Jennings for a number of years, as well as Nexstep Commercial Products for more than 14 years. She served as a Ford County Election Judge.

Her hobbies included reading, gardening, sewing, bowling and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
