Jennifer Lynn Chapman, age 44, of Bristol, TN beloved by her family went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a strong battle with cancer and renal failure.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Mamie and James Earl Clark; Aunt, Mary-Joe; and brother-in-law, Zachary Gray.
She is survived by her husband, Ezra Ray Roberts of Bristol, TN; daughter, Haley Chapman and boyfriend, Ricky Tate of Bristol, TN; sister, Danielle Vorhees of Bristol, TN; special niece Shady Gray; mother, Nancy Vorhees of California; many cousins and great-aunts and great-uncles.
The funeral service will take place at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Johnny Dillard officiating. The committal and interment will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, in Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 7:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to help the family with the funeral cost.
