She was born July 5, 1901, in Appanoose County to John E. and Martha Wales Dooley. She married Roy T. Lowe at Centerville on April 10, 1920 and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of Bella Study Club and First Baptist Church in Centerville.
She is survived by two daughters, Bettie Morawitz, Burlington, Iowa; and Mary K. DeKalb, Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 12 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Goodson officiating. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery. A memorial was established to the First Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
