Patrick Goodwin, 63, of Edgewater, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2013 with his family by his side listening to his favorite 60's oldies. A lot of his friends remember Pat from his B & B Fishery days or Dolphin View Seafood Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach. A director of seafood processing (famously known as fish cutter) was a big part of Pat's life. He was an awesome griller and enjoyed sharing his expertise at family gatherings. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Camping with the love of his life, his wife Kathy, and his family was what he loved to do. His cooler was always full and iced and he never met a stranger. Although his heart tired too soon, anyone that had the pleasure to cross his path was touched by true goodness. In addition to his wife, Pat is survived by two sons, Mark (Toni) Grenier of Edgewater and Paul Grenier of Middlesex, VA; one daughter, Patricia Goodwin; one brother, Dale (Edie) Goodwin of Daytona Beach; three sisters, Virginia (Corky) Wingate of Daytona Beach, Colleen (Joe) Wingate of Wellston, OK and Kathleen Taylor of Warsaw, VA. Pat lived life to the fullest celebrating four grandchildren, Timothy, Jeremiah, Destinee and Nicholas and one great grandchild, Will. Time with us was not long enough but forever he will be loved and missed. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. Respecting Pat's wishes, a celebration of his life and the spreading of ashes will be planned by the family at a later date.
