Kathy's family later moved to Texas where she and her brother and sister attended New Caney High School. She married Donald Wayne Mosley on June 7, 1973 in Elk Point, South Dakota.
Kathy was a person that made friends easily. She was a warm loving person who was compassionate, and always gave of herself. Kathy was a wonderful mother and grandmother who adored all of her grandchildren and loved all of her nieces and nephews. She had the ability to make any event fun, she loved singing karaoke and getting together with her family and friends. Kathy especially loved spending time with her closet friend that was like a sister, Cindy Brittain. She enjoyed fishing and camping and just being outdoors. Kathy was a great cook and host, she was an animal lover and loved her dogs dearly. Kathy loved to crochet and her plants and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Joanna Marie Mosley, her mother and father-in-law, Arlee and Bertha Mosley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Wayne Mosley; daughter, Darina Ferguson; daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Patrick Henderline and Greg Ivy and Karlee Mosley; her very special friend, Cindy Brittain and husband Robert; granddaughter and husband, Ashley and Stephen Powell; granddaughter, Brittany Cravens; numerous great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Thomas Wisdom; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Sue Ann Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Buddy Kimball; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be May 12, 2017 at Salem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Fielders Cemetery.
