Danny was a man of few words, but showed his love and friendship by his kindness and generosity to his family and friends. He was a quiet and proud man; who never ask of anyone, but who would be first to help someone in their time of need. Danny enjoyed collecting coins and had a vast baseball card collection. On the day of his death, the sun was bright, and there was a beautiful spring breeze. We opened the French doors of his room, and he gazed at the light as the sun glowed on his face and the wind swept over his body. A gorgeous red cardinal landed on the rocker just outside his door, and as if looking inside before turning to fly away. We knew at that moment it was his loving soulmate calling him home to be with her again.
