Margaret "Evelyn" Lewis, 99, of Dallas, Texas, passed away August 27, 2022.
She was born in Weir, Texas on November 21, 1922. Before moving to Dallas, she lived in San Antonio for 36 years. Evelyn graduated from May, Texas High School and attended Howard Payne University.
She was married to the late James Lewis for 36 years. Evelyn had a career in banking and accounting in her younger years, and did homecare with children and seniors later in life. She had a passion for card games, dominoes, and crafting.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Panduru; son-in-law, John Panduru; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM, followed by a chapel service at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Weir Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
