Samantha Lee Davis, 33, of New Matamoras, OH passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born on September 3, 1983 in Marietta to Sam Lee Kidd and Vesta J. Minder Kidd Hall.
Samantha graduated from Frontier High School in 2002 and from Marietta College in 2006. She was a member of the Little Muskingum Grange, Job's Daughters and Cleveland Browns Backers. She enjoyed being a Tee Ball Coach and being with her family and community, especially her daughter, Livi Lu.
Samantha is survived by her husband, Kyle Davis, whom she married on September 4, 2010; a daughter, Olivia Davis; grandmother, Louella Minder of Canton, OH; grandmother, Vesta J. Hall (Harvey) of New Matamoras, OH; a brother, Nicholas E. Kidd (Kaitlyn) of New Matamoras, OH; a sister, Whitney R. Bennett (Geoffrey) of Lowell, OH and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a daughter, Amelia Ann Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hadley Funeral Home, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH 45750 to offset funeral expenses.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta with Pam Kreig officiating. Burial to follow in Matamoras Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
