Fern Louise Davis, 72, of Anderson, passed away May 6, 2017, at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born Nov. 7, 1944, in Hazard, Kentucky, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Fern graduated from Anderson High School in the Class of 1963. She was a homemaker. She was a very active member of Bethany Christian Church. Fern enjoyed spending her time at church and with her friends and family.
Fern is survived by her husband, Tom Davis, of Anderson; son, Todd (Jerilyn) Davis, of Anderson; son, Jeff (Vicki) Davis, of Brownsburg; sister, Bonnie Robinson, of Anderson; brother, Bill (Sally) Powers, of Anderson; grandchildren, Kaylie Davis, Krista (Keith) Auxier, Collin (Rayona) Davis, all of Anderson, Sarah Davis, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Justin Davis, of Brownsburg; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Davis and Braelynn Auxier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tracy Breece; and her brothers, Bobby, Mitch and Cecil Powers. She also was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Herman Robinson.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the funeral home, with Bob Bell officiating. Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
