Her parents were Richard Nash (Aug. 1834 - Sept. 1, 1905) and Johanna (aka Hanora and Hanna) Frawley (1827 - Oct. 10, 1872), both born in Ireland, married on Oct. 19, 1852 in Kilbysart, Ireland. Elizabteth's father Richard was born in Kildysert (aka Killardyset), Co. Clare, Ireland, the son of Richard Nash (1789 - Sept. 11, 1865) and Hannah Finn (1796 – 24 Apr 1866). Elizabeth was baptized on Dec 16, 1862 (?) in Old St. Patrick’s Church, corner of Broadway and Ellicott Streets, Buffalo NY; the godparents were Patrick and Annie McCarthy. Elizabeth spent her whole life in Buffalo. In 1880 she was 16 living at home with father Richard and sister Norah at 148 Mackinaw Street in the 1st Ward. Elizabeth married Michael J. Shreenan on July 15, 1891 in St. Stephen’s RC church in Buffalo, NY. Witnesses were James Butler and Brigit Finnigan; E.M. McDermott officiated. In 1900 she lived with husband Michael and son Hugh; she reported to be the mother of three, of which only one living. That was at 25 St. Stephan’s Place in the 5th Ward. In 1910, she is living with husband Michael, son Hugh and daughter Olive back in the 1st Ward. According to the record, she had given birth to 5 children, of which only Hugh and Olive survived beyond infancy. Elizabeth died on May 3, 1914 in Buffalo NY.
