Ryan passed away at University Hospital after a hard fought battle with testicular cancer. Ryan was a graduate of DeRuyter Central School and attended Tompkins Cortland Community College. He was employed at NYS Office of Children & Family Services.
Ryan is survived by his mother Rebecca Lawrence and father Randy Ellis and brother, Josh Ellis. Also his grandmother, Thelma Ellis and several aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends who will miss his presence in their lives.
Ryan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Jack Ellis and his maternal grandmother, Patricia Lawrence.
