Theresa was born on September 20, 1950, in Lewiston, ME, daughter to the late Robert and Aline (Dionne) Pinard.
She was a longtime resident of Plainville who enjoyed nature, especially spending time in her garden and feeding the wildlife outside her home. She also enjoyed reading and cooking great meals for family and friends. Theresa had a realistic outlook on life and was one of the hardest working employees and person in general. Above all, as a woman who held family as the center of her world,
Theresa loved spending quality time with them no matter the occasion, especially her grandchildren. Theresa is survived by her son, Michael Vye and his wife, Dianne; her daughter, Jennifer Uliasz and her husband, David; her sister, Lorraine Mirrotto and her husband, Frank; her sister, Claudette Bernard; her brother, Jerry Pinard and his wife, Dawn; her grandchildren, Morgan Elliot, Natalia Vye, and Derek Vye; several nieces and nephews; her special friends, Aline Clouse, Arlene Anderson, and Rita Taylor; and her special church friend, Gisele. In addition, she leaves behind her furry pet grandchildren, JoJo, Pedro, and Gus. Theresa's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice Team, especially Jeff and Andrea, for the exceptional care they provided to Theresa at her time of need. Also, the family extends a special thanks to the oncology nurses, especially Chrissy and Jen, who cared for and supported Theresa in her time of need.
A Memorial Service in Celebration of Theresa's life was held at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville.
. Theresa was laid to rest with her husband in the CT State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown.
