Rebecca Amy Weissmiller, age 50 of Chickamauga, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017. She was born to the late Robert and Diane Taylor Weissmiller in Genevia, OH, lived most of her life in Cleveland, TN and has been a resident of North Georgia since 1992. She graduated from Bradley Central in 1985 and was of the Christian Faith. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt, who will be greatly missed.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, of 10 yrs., Edwin Scruggs; sons, Tyler Goodner and Andrew Longrey; sister, Regina Hutson; brothers, Jeffery Weissmiller and Michael Weissmiller; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Richard Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
