Mr. Harrington was born November 19, 1955, in Georgetown, a son of Jeanette Stone.
He was an equipment operator with L&L Contractors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved spending time with family and friends. He was a loving father, cherished grandfather, and a loyal friend. One of his greatest prides was calling Puncheon Creek home.
He was survived by three children, Jerry Eric (Amanda) Harrington, Nicholas Floyd Harrington, and Hayley Elizabeth Harrington; five grandchildren, Kayley, Natalie, Bladyn, Katie, and Brittany; a great-grandchild, Cale; a sister, Michelle (Tony) Cooper; a nephew, Ridge "Rooster" Cooper; the mother of his children, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Meza; and loved like a sister, Kimberly Cantley.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed in Bethel Cemetery.
