Marion E. Russell, 90, of Fayetteville, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 9,2014 with her family at her side.

She was a war bride in July,1945 when she married Austin H. Russell while he was home on a short leave. After a quick honeymoon he left to go back and finish out the war. She went to work as a hairdresser and eventually opened up her own shop in their home, where she maintained a business while raising her two children. She continued hairdressing well into her sixties and enjoyed the relationship she cultivated with her customers.
