Roxie L. Green, daughter of Walter and Gladys (Kindle) Crittenden, was born on December 13, 1931 in Proctor, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 85 years.
Roxie liked to cook chicken and fried potatoes for her family and friends. She enjoyed reading and find-a-word puzzles. Roxie loved reading her bible. She read it cover to cover many times over the years. Roxie loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. She will be dearly missed by her family. Roxie also loved taking care of her adopted cats and they will miss her too!
She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Gladys Crittenden, husband: James Green, brothers: Austin, Calvin, Raymond and Melvin Joe Crittenden and sister: Ruby Cary.
Roxie is survived by her children: Zelda and husband Tom Tate of Chewey, OK, Beverly Ames and husband Eddie of Westville, OK, Linda Dhein and husband Ron of Springdale, AR, brothers: Jay Crittenden and wife Ina Jo of Westville, OK, Don Crittenden and wife Sue of Westville, OK, Bob Crittenden and wife Cathy of Rock Island, TN, sister: Opal Raimond and husband Bill of Coweta, OK, Sue Patton and husband Leonard of Westville, OK, grandchildren: Jeremy Ames, Jeff Ames, Christopher Ames, Samantha Ames, Thomas Tate, Emily Tate, great grandchildren: Mariah Ames, Aaron Ames, Hadley Ames, Gavin Tate, Shelby Davidson.
