Susan Jean Burt, born on March 14, 1948 in Flint, Michigan went home to glory on Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at the age of 69 after fighting a strong 2 year battle with cancer.
She lived in Leesburg, Virginia for the last 16 years and treasured every piece of God's natural beauty in the area.

Susan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and teacher.
Susan was known by all (even the homeless) to leave an impact on everyone she met with her profound depth of love for her Lord Jesus.
She never failed to take time to share his love with anyone that would listen, and even sometimes with those who would not.
She spent every possible opportunity serving and praying for other's salvation and healing.
She could be found ministering to the residents of the nursing home in Warrenton, Virginia that she visited regularly.
For four or more hours each day with no exceptions even until her final days, she devoted her time to intercession for the lost, the saint's needs, and her family.
Susan's occupation was being an exemplary homemaker.
She found great fulfillment and pleasure in this as she saw this instructed in the Word Of God.
She encouraged many young mothers with her example not only in this path, but also with homeschooling.
She exclusively home schooled her daughter through graduation which brought them very close together.
Sarah-Linda is eternally grateful for those years.
Susan is survived by her husband of 50 years, Franklin George Burt of Swartz Creek, Michigan; her son Justin Winfield Burt of Flint, Michigan; her daughter-in-law Susan Anne Burt of Miami, Florida; her daughter, Sarah-Linda Burt of Miami, Florida; her sister Linda Louise Beckman of Grand Blanc, Michigan; her granddaughter Meagen Anne Burt of Miami, Florida; her grandson Timothy Justin Burt of Miami, Florida as well as her brother-in-law and several nephews/nieces.
She is also missed by a large number of friends some of whom she held cherished friendships with for over 35 years.
A quiet graveside service was held on May 2, 2017.
Interment was held at Ebenezer Cemetery on May 2, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to her home church TOP of Leesburg, Virginia.
