Our beloved Lee J. Olsen, 71, died on September 30, 1995. "Poppy" is now walking in heaven on both feet.

Lee was born June 21, 1924, in Fayette, Utah, to Charles Franklin and Pearl Hill Olsen, the third of eight sons. He graduated from Springville High School and Brigham Young University. He married his sweetheart, Genevieve Boyer, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this year.He was a respected business leader and executive. Everyone who met him was a better person for having known him. Lee was a member of the LDS church where he served in numerous callings including bishop, branch president, high councilor, and his favorite, a guide on Temple Square.

Lee is survived by his wife, Genevieve; his brothers, Kenneth, Benjamin, Don and James; his six children, Steven (June) Olsen, Peggy (Wayne) Fereday, Charles (Leslie) Olsen, John (Barbara) Olsen, Brent Olsen, and Julie Olsen; and his eight grandchildren who lovingly named him "Poppy."

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Berkley, Darwin and Douglas Roy.

The family greatly appreciates the staff at the Garden Terrace Care Center, especially our angel, Becky.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 1995, at 12 noon at the Holladay Second Ward, 2065 East 4675 South. Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening and Wednesday, from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the ward. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
