A new star has appeared in the Heavens, shining brightly. Our hearts were broken when our dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away on to a different world. Carol was born in Ft. Wayne, IN, on July 2, 1930. She met the love of her life in Indianapolis, IN, Jerry D. Hopkins. They were married for 67 years and had two children, Anne and Kim. They moved to Fresno, CA in 1964, and raised the family. She go her Bachelor of Science degree in ornamental horticulture. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Quilters Guild, and Osher. Carol was laid to rest at Clovis Cemetery on April 22, 2017. A treasure has been lost, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever. She is survived by Jerry; children, Anne and Kim, and their spouses, Thomas and Annette; grandchildren, Hannah, Samantha, Blair, and Doug, and their spouses, Jason, Simon, and Milika, plus Alton, Aanya, and Ambrose. A Memorial Service will be held at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky, Clovis, CA, on June 3, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. followed with a Celebration of Life at 2651 E. Yeargin, Fresno, CA.
