Ford, Norma R. COLONIE Norma (Ringler) Ford, 87, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Hotaling) Ringler. Mrs. Ford attended Philip Schuyler High School. She was a home maker and a devoted wife and mother. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting landscapes and doing ceramics. Mrs. Ford was an avid bowler. Wife of the late George T. Ford who died in 1999; mother of Kathleen (Grant) Lehman, Cynthia M. Ford and Geoffrey M. (Richele) Ford; grandmother of Jennifer Ludt, Kristin, Scott and Gregory Lehman, Ethan and Eli Ford; sister of the late Kenneth J., Sr., Anthony, Frederick and Gerrit Ringler, Lillian Cheeseman, Mary Germann, Marjorie Martin and Catherine Probst. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany thence to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will follow the Mass in Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie. - Timesunion-Albany
