Ruth, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her spirit departed this world on the morning of May 4, 2017. Ruth was born on October 27, 1937, in Ogden, Utah, to Sina and Clarence Wilcox. She married the love of her life, Gale Allred, on September 12, 1952.

Ruth was greeted on the other side with loving arms by both her parents; brother, Dean Wilcox; sister, Marion Wilcox; and her son, Martin Allred. She is survived by her husband, Gale Allred; siblings, Shirley (Wilcox) Wagner, and Wayne Wilcox; sons: Dan Allred, Mike Allred, Ed Allred, Max Allred, Greg Allred, and Eric Allred. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She loved spending her time quilting; spending time in Idaho, at their cabin in Lava Ranches, where she made many lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Honeyville Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints at 2620 W. 6980 North, Honeyville, Utah, on Monday, May 8, 2017, at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30 a.m. To 10:30 a.m. There will also be a viewing held at the Honeyville Chapel on Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be at the Calls Fort Cemetery.
