Roger Farrell Wilkins was born December 7, 1947 in Joplin, MO, the son of Otis Oliver and Kathryn Bell (Smith) Wilkins. Roger served his country in the Army during the Viet Nam War. He owned and operated the former R&R Rebuilders in Seneca, MO. He was a Electrician and worked for Joplin Industrial Electric and Tristate Motor Transit. Roger was consider by family and friends as a Jack of all trades.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Otis Oliver Wilkins Jr., Daniel Wilkins and infant brother Kenneth Wilkins.
Survivors include one son; Lonnie Wilkins and wife Jennifer, Joplin; one daughter, Teresa Harris and husband Charles, Carl Junction; one brother, Charles Wilkins, Joplin; one sister, Becky Wilkins, Alba, MO and 5 grandchildren.
The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. The family will be holding a memorial service at the home of Lonnie Wilkins at a later date.
