Mr. Kelly passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017. Born in Chesterfield County, S.C., he was the son of the late Roy Kelly Sr. and Retha Gainey Kelly. He served in the US Navy and retired from DuPont. He owned and operated Bruce Kelly Auto Sales in Camden. He was a Shriner, member of the Kershaw Masonic Lodge, and an avid Clemson fan.
Surviving are his wife, Alma Tilley Kelly; children, Ronnie (Chris) Kelly, Deborah Geddings Butler, Lynn Rogers (Howard), Debra Sheheen, and Michael Scott; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Blease (Rosa) Kelly, Rev. Burch (Emily) Kelly, Calvin (Mary) Kelly, Zulene Gandy, Rev. Betty Gainey, and Mary Evans; sisters-in-law, Sheila Kelley and Frankie Kelley. He was predeceased by brothers, Roy Kelley Jr. and Redmond Kelley.
