James “Jim” August Hoff, age 87, of Pilot Grove, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017.

Services for will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, at St. Joseph Church in Pilot Grove. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation with a rosary service will be held begining at 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church or Ashley Manor Care Center.

Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Wilma Bonen of Blackwater; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Hermina “Mimi” and Richard “Dick” Kraus of Sedalia; and two nieces and two nephews; Karen Simon and her husband Wayne of La Monte; Rick Kraus and his wife Irene of Marshall; Russell Bonen and his wife Bridgett of Armstrong, and Denise Crawley and her husband David of Ellisville, one great niece and four great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Katherine (Strickfaden) Hoff, and brothers, Joseph J. Hoff and Eugene William Hoff and brother-in-law, Kenny Bonen.
