Jay Wilson, 63, of Longwood, Florida gently passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
A wake service will be hosted at DeGusipe Funeral Home on May 7th, 2017, at the time of 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock.
Jay was born in North Kingston, Rhode Island on August 5, 1953. He was a Coast Guard, Army Reserve Veteran and retired as a Rhode Island Police Officer of 30 years. Continuing his public service as a South Carolina Berkeley County Sheriff Deputy.
He was an avid fisherman and landscaping was his passion.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Wilson, and his 6 children, Christine Heinz and her husband, Jeremy Heniz, Michelle Bryce and her husband Victor Bryce, Nicholas DuBois, and Scott DuBois. His sisters, Jackie Johansen,and Rosalie Hoxsie. His brother-in-law, Robert Johansen. He also has 5 grandchildren.
