Daniel was born November 19, 1928 in Durand, Michigan to Benjamin Joseph and Gertrude Margaret (Neidert) Reese. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and later reenlisted in the Army.
Mr. Reese had two former wives and numerous children, all of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents,
