Mr. Curtis held at least six American utility patents on incubators and related equipment. He was also editor in chief of various poultry magazines, such as American Poultry World, published from 1909 to 1917 in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Curtis was at one time President of the American Poultry Association, and was considered an expert in the field of raising and showing poultry. "
