Mrs. Pamela Simmons Lawson, age 56, of 207 Osborne St., Union, widow of Terry Lawson passed away Thursday May 4, 2017.
Mrs. Lawson was born in Jonesville, SC a daughter of the late Tommy Simmons and Elaine McBride Simmons. She retired as a secretary from A-1 Auto Sales in Jonesville. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Shannon Yarbrough and husband Jason of Union and Sonya Sinclair and husband David of Buffalo; two brothers, Todd Simmons and wife Pamela of Spartanburg and “Tom-Tom” Simmons and wife Angie of Union; three grandchildren, Amanda Sinclair Quinn and husband Phillip, Novah Manibusan, and Matt Yarbrough; and one great-grandchild, Jahlil Hardy. She was predeceased by one son, William Thomas Turner, Jr. and one daughter, Amanda Lynn Turner.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2017 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Melvin Shelton and Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Wilson Brackins, Bubba Yarbrough, Stevie Pettie, Brandon Hardy, Phillip Quinn, and Matt Yarbrough.
Visitation will be held 1:30 until 3:00 PM Monday prior to the services at the Church.
Memorials may be made to the Pamela S. Lawson Fund, PO Box 293, Union, SC 29379.
