BITTICK CARL FREDERICK passed away in Oakland, CA on May 19, 2001. He was the cherished, adopted parent of Jennifer DeNard Vondracek of Oakland, CA and the adopted grandfather of Bradley DeNard. He was the dear uncle of Anna Mae Vollmer of Festus, MO. He is survived by countless friends and associates. A native of Bloomsdale, MO, he was 85 years of age. Beloved by many, Carl was Barber to Henry J. Kaiser, who had the Lanai Barber Shop in the Kaiser Building built for him. Carl wanted every one to know that "I kept my sense of humor until the end". Gifts in his memory, to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or the American Heart Association are requested in lieu of flowers. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 11:00am on Friday, June 15, 2001, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2808 Lakeshore Avenue, Oakland.
