At first it was thought that the development of blood poisoning might be checked and no alarm was felt. Later however, his condition took a serious turn and continued to grow worse, medical aid being unable to to combat it.
The deceased, who was well known throughout the city, was 54 years of age and was resident of this city the greater portion of his life. He is survived by his widow and the following children, Will, John, Edward and Carrie all of whom reside here. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, John, Lee and Thomas Curry and Mrs. Dennie Taylor of this city and Mrs. Edward Barkley of Cincinnati.
The funeral services will be conducted from the residence at 1824 Oak street at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. C. E. Hetzler of the First United Brethern church officiating.
