Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Gouldbusk Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Gouldbusk Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
She was born Mary Laura Insall, the daughter of Eric and Clara Smith Insall, on April 6, 1914 in Leander. She attended school at Soules Chapel and married Odis J. Johnson on December 19, 1937 in Elmdale. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2005. She lived in Taylor County for several years before moving to Coleman County in 1971. She taught Sunday School for many years, was a homemaker and a member of the Gouldbusk Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Gayle Johnson of Gouldbusk; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and James Marchant of Ocoee, Florida; one brother, Carroll Insall of Livingston; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.
Memorials may be sent to the Gouldbusk Cemetery Association.
Family visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2007 at the funeral home.
