Leonard Frederick Rilea, of Redding, CA, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2017 surrounded by the ones he loved, laughed with and lived for.
He was predeceased by his sister Sylvia Quam. He was also predeceased by his parents John and Muriel Rilea, his brother Larry Rilea.
Leonard was born in Indian Falls, CA, however, he lived most of his life in Redding. He also spent time in the military serving in the Army.
Leonard worked as an union grocery clerk in Redding, Anderson and Red Bluff. Friends Neighbors and family who knew and loved Leonard over his life appreciated his sense of humor and his ever giving spirit.
Leonard is survived by his son Leonard John Rilea and his wife Kathy Rilea also of Redding; his grandchildren, Matthew and Rebecca; His brother Mark Rilea and his wife Ester Rilea; and sisters Mary Dillon and Karen Maxey. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
