On 12 Feb 1903 he was marr. to Rebecca Damron and they had 10 children: Simon, Daniel, Luke, Lucille, Mallie, Jane, Margie, Marie, Winford, & Altha, all of whom are now deceased. Ruthie Mae and Edith of the first marriage are still living.
His first wife died and he later married Nan Bates and they had two girls: Viola and Dacie
