Travis Cantrell CHARLESTON Travis Lee Cantrell, 86, of Charleston died at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 24, 1993) at the Danville VA Medical Center. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Caudill King Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery north of Rardin with graveside military rites by the VFW. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was bom March 18, 1907, in Georgia, the son of John and Belle Harris Cantrell. He married Lorene Sheffer in 1954; she survives. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Myron (Nola) Pangburn of Tuscola; a brother, Clarence Cantrell of Arlington; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Mr. Cantrell was a WWII veteran.
