Connie R. (Hiserote) Osterholt, 71, of Sioux City, Iowa went home with the Lord, on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am Monday, May 8, 2017 at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation will be 3pm to 6pm on Sunday, May 7, 2017, with family present from 4pm to 6pm and a prayer service at 6:00pm at the Funeral Home.

Connie was born March 11, 1946 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Walter and Ruth (Shadbolt) Hiserote. She grew up in South Sioux City, graduating from South Sioux City High School. Connie married Jack Ryan. To this union three children were born, Ken, Ron and Jeana. They later divorced. She married Edward J. Osterholt in 1990 at Elk Point, SD. Together they made their home in the Sioux City area. Connie worked at Mercy Medical Center for over 19 years, later working at Michael's Foods, and was an Avon Representative for over 25 years.

Connie was a very devoted mom and loved to be with her family. She read the Bible every day, enjoyed crocheting blankets and doilies for the family, shopping and jewelry, baking, playing cards, games, and watching Westerns on TV. She loved music and loved to dance.

She is survived by two sons, Ken (Susan) Ryan and Ron (April) Ryan; a daughter, Jeana (Jerry) Veach; step-son, Jerry (Cynthia) Osterholt; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry (Gen) Hiserote.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marilyn Thorsen; and an infant brother, Ronald Hiserote.
