Sandra Mae “Sandy” Scott, 67, of Fostoria, passed away at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born May 21, 1949, in Fostoria, to the late Lewis and LaDonna (Rader) Arnold. She married Gregory A. “Greg” Scott Jan. 17, 1970, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church and he survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are three children, two grandsons, a soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Addley Mae, due to be born July 11; two sisters, a brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judith (Scott) Chaney.

Sandy had worked at Tiffin Paper Co. for three years, City Loan & Savings for three years, spent 13 years at home raising the family, Arnold Vending Co. for 10 years, Independence House for three years and ICP, Tiffin, where she worked for 13 years. Sandra also worked on the election board and helped with Bible school after retirement, was a Salvation Army bell ringer and a volunteer at Independence House and a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and St. Patrick Church, Bascom. Sandy enjoyed reading, walking, baking, crafts and spending time with family. She adored her grandsons and loved attending all of their sporting events. Sandy also enjoyed vacations with her husband, Greg, whom she was married to for 47 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who always put others before herself.

Burial and committal services will take place at 2 p.m. at Rock Creek Cemetery, Tiffin
