Samuel was born on December 16, 1928 in Morristown, TN to the late Eanos Earl Hunt, Sr. and the late Ethel Painter Hunt.
On December 15, 1956, Samuel married his most cherished friend, Bonnie, and after 60 years of a wonderful, loving life together, she survives.
Samuel loved life and he lived it to the fullest. He was a huge racing fan and UT football fan. He enjoyed sport cars and he found solace in driving his Porsche.
Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, Eanos and Ethel Hunt; and brother, Eanos Earl Hunt, Jr.
Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Hunt; son, David Hunt and wife Brenda; three grandchildren, Kristal, Douglas, and Nicholas; one great-grandson, Nathan; and numerous loving nephews, nieces, and other family members.
Funeral services will be held at East Lawn Funeral Home 11:00 am.
Entombment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park in the Chapel of Memories.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Brady, Randy Fleming, Tandy Fleming, Scott Fleming, John Fleming and Tony Lipoma.
