Jennifer Lynn Mason, 55, of Burlington, formerly of Keokuk, passed away on May 1, 2017, in her home in Burlington, Iowa.

Jennifer was born on October 2, 1961, the daughter of Norman and Marilyn (Akers) Mason. After attending Keokuk High School and graduating from Keokuk Christian Academy, Jennifer moved to Burlington, where she lived for about thirty-five years. She was a dedicated and punctual employee of Burlington Notre Dame High School for over ten years, where she worked hard and made many friends. Jennifer will always be remembered for her kind and giving nature, and her loving personality. Those who knew Jennifer would describe her as a person who was always happy and never complained.

Jennifer loved her cat Tigger, who was her constant companion. She enjoyed watching Golden Girls and listening to Elvis, The Beetles, the Bee Gees, and Reba McEntire, who reminded her of her mother, Marilyn. Jennifer passed the time hanging out at Day-HAB in Burlington, and visiting the casinos, often with her mother and their friend, Ralph.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her mother Marilyn Varner, and her step-father Larry Varner.
